| Known simply
as the "Plug Guy", and with 43 years of electrical
industry experience, Jack Shaw specializes in electrical product
connectors from a variety of manufacturers and Feedrail Systems.
Jack worked directly with ECT to redesign a product line,
coordinating efforts with UL and CSA engineers to ensure codes
conformed with existing applications, and designing five new
products for ECT.
Working with the Meltric factory, he supported projects in
the motion picture industry, at the Los Angeles Convention
Center, at the Hawaii Convention Center, for the Los Angeles
Metro-Rail, for Unisys computer systems, for wine producers,
and for US Navy and Coast Guard ship-to-shore power systems.
Russellstoll projects include IBM 3800 ad 3090 installations,
aerospace applications, and shipyard refurbishment.
Feedrail projects include garment manufacturing and electronic
production industry applications.
Jack is also a member of the Underwriters Laboratory Standards
Technical Panel, STP 1640, covering the Standard for Safety
for Portable Power Distribution and Devices.
