The Triploc¨
line of plugs and receptacles connect your circuits in a wide
array of applications. Industrial machinery, standby power
and stage lighting, furnaces/ovens, portable welding, and
off-road vehicle control are some of the areas serviced by
Triploc.
Rust-resistant steel plug bodies mate to receptacles
of ferrous alloy and steel. They couple with a spring-loaded
locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. An
automatic release option permits plug release at 10-15 pounds
of pull. A counter-clockwise turn releases the connection. |

Triploc plugs and receptacles
also feature:
-
Tapered grommet
allows effective cord strain release, sized to your cable
diameter, in a tapered seat that holds the cord under
tension on the full length of the grommet. Compression
options include plain gland nut, mechanical clamp nut,
and basket weave grip. Flexible metallic and non-metallic
conduit options are also available.
-
All plugs
are full skirted to guard and protect the contacts, as
required by OSHA at construction sites and NFPA Standard
79 for metalworking machine tools.
-
Receptacle
mounting includes flush and surface, various back boxes,
and in-line arrangement to broaden its installation versatility.
Contact units
feature:
-
3-12 pole
configurations, with both power and control inserts.
-
Molded insulation.
-
Asymmetrical
configurations and keyways to assure proper polarity and
eliminate cross mating.
-
Other insulation
materials available for unusual applications (high temperatures,
fungus resistance, and abnormal contaminates).
Note: Certain
2, 3, and 4 pole inserts are UL and CSA listed. Consult a
NEW specialist for listings to meet your unique requirements.
