Norton Electric Wholesale is a privately held distributor of electrical products used in commercial, industrial, entertainment, institutional, and governmental applications.  Actively involved in the industry through membership in the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), the National Association of Wholesalers (NAW), and a national marketing group of independent electrical distributors (known as IMARK), Norton is also an ISO-9002 compliant distributor.  Providing state-of-the-art electrical product technology combined with an 93-year old service philosophy makes NEW a proud industry leader. Our mission statement is simply "To do what we say we will do".

History
Based in a historic area of Los Angeles, California, the Norton family originally opened its doors in 1916 as a retail appliance, motor repair, and contracting business.  Responding to changing customer requirements, the wholesale division began operation in 1936.  Eventually the retail, repair, and contracting businesses were discontinued in the 1950s in favor of NEW's increasing emphasis on wholesale electrical product distribution. Now under the third generation of Norton family management, NEW continues to flourish in an industry where they are recognized for their technical expertise and excellent customer service.
